Mexican commentator Jesus Barron recently blasted CF Monterrey player Jesus Corona for his poor fitness. Barron also said that with the amount of body fat he has, Jesus Corona cannot become an elite athlete like others. Barron earlier said, “Be careful; it’s not the weight. Abdominal fat, the weight is not. Remember one thing, it is fat that makes you change or be an athlete.” The player has been having a torrid time recently in Liga MX, the top tier of Mexican soccer.

The player has played 13 games for Monterrey this season but hasn’t scored a single goal or provided an assist. Apart from that, the player’s off-field problems are also an issue after he was caught driving under the influence of alcohol by the police a few weeks ago, according to reports. This led to him being fined by the club for violating the values of their institution as claimed by them. On the other hand, Ronaldo, even at 38, is top-scoring for his club.
