Weddings are truly joyous occasions and nothing could be more true for soccer legend Gerard Pique who recently attended his younger brother’s marriage with his girlfriend Clara Chia Marti. Pique has had a rocky few months dealing with the controversy surrounding his breakup with Shakira.

But he seems to have moved on from that phase and is now enjoying his time with Clara Chia. The couple recently attended Pique’s younger brother Marc Pique’s marriage. Meanwhile, the wedding was also graced by a creation from Victoria Beckham, wife of soccer legend David Beckham.

The wedding was a much-needed respite for the soccer star who has been mired in a rather public and controversial breakup with his longtime girlfriend, Shakira. Pique and his girlfriend looked utterly classy at the event. The Barcelona legend exuded suave sophistication in a navy blue suit. On the other hand, Clara Chia looked gorgeous in a simple yet elegant gold dress.

However, what made the gold dress stand out, apart from its eye-catching color, was its perfect fit and the ‘V’ neckline. Also according to Semana, the one who designed this stunning dress is none other than Victoria Beckham. When it comes to fashion, Victoria Beckham is undoubtedly one of the most prominent names in the industry today.

Shakira didn’t allow her kids to attend the wedding with Gerard Pique

As we are all aware, superstar Shakira has custody of her children while Gerard Pique is only granted limited visitation time with them. Because of this, Pique was unable to have his kids attend his brother’s wedding. Earlier this month, Shakira traveled to Barcelona with the children so they could spend time with their father.

During their stay, the topic of attending Marc Pique’s wedding arose. Unfortunately, their mother denied the request and as a result, Pique had to return the kids to Miami without attending the wedding. Nonetheless, Milan and Sasha spent two lovely weeks with their paternal family before departing back to their new home in the US on June 17th.
