From Neymar to Karim Benzema, European stars continued to follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo to play for the Middle Eastern sides. In fact, one of CR7’s former teammates might even make a special trip to Saudi Arabia for his move. The ex-locker room buddy is none other than Douglas Costa.

As per transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Douglas Costa intends to embark on a trip to Saudi Arabia in the coming weeks to assess offers and explore potential opportunities for his next career move. Apparently, the Brazilian winger is keen to leave his current team, the LA Galaxy, and is looking to swap MLS for the Roshn Saudi League.

With the MLS season in its final stages, Costa will become a free agent and looks to this as an opportunity to find his next destination. For now, the interested teams haven’t been disclosed, but it certainly is good news for the Gulf League, which will have another star at their will to join them. Notably, Costa shared a locker room with Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus for two years. However, the player then embarked on loan spells at Bayern Munich, Gremio, and the LA Galaxy.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen which Saudi outfit will fancy Costa. Meanwhile, speaking of signings, Ronaldo’s Al Nassr recently made a Portuguese addition to their roster, but it wasn’t for soccer.
