Fans and supporters of Al Hilal are waiting with bated breaths. Their team is facing one of the most consistent teams in the Saudi Professional League and their recent results are a tad bit scary. With Nuno Espirito at the helm, the team hasn’t lost or drawn a single match. In their last match, Benzema was taken off after a suspected hamstring injury causing concerns for Nuno‘s side. Al Hilal fans, though, are in for good news as the Brazilian soccer star is back in first-team training.

As per Globo, Neymar is back in training and he didn’t complain about any pain in his injured thigh. He had updated the Al Hilal management on his status and even expressed that he was ready to start against Al Ettifaq. Jorge Jesus, however, didn’t take any chance and decided to rest the player.

The Brazilian Soccer star also informed his national team’s management and coaching staff that he had recovered from his injury. Neymar expressed his desire to play in the upcoming qualifiers of the World Cup 2026. Al Ittihad might be playing without Karim Benzema for some time now but they have another star player, who may be making his way to the club.

Al Ittihad moves for Mo Salah

Saudi club Al Ittihad has made an approach for Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian previously signed a contract extension last year and the decision largely rests with manager, Jurgen Klopp. He likely wouldn’t want to let Salah go considering the options they have in the market and the little time left to scout players that fit their system.

The bid for Salah is around $100 million. With a player in the later stages of his prime, a $100 million deal is an interesting one. The decision rests with Klopp but he too might be tempted to bring someone younger into that position. The squad is already lacking in squad depth, there have been no additions to their reserves either. An injury to some key cogs may likely plague Liverpool in the later stages of the season.
