Things have been rough for former Manchester United skipper Harry Maguire lately. The English defender who was once among the top-rated center-backs in the game has been reduced to an outcast at his current club. However, it seems like not everyone has lost faith in the defender. Maguire, in a recent interview, touched down on his conversation with club icon David Beckham and how the conversation meant a lot to him.

Manchester United went all in on Harry Maguire back in 2019 to lure him away from Leicester City. However, the defender has failed to live up to his massive $92 million price tag. Things have not worked out well between Manchester United and Harry Maguire. Despite the Red Devils splurging massive cash on the defender in 2019, Maguire is yet to live up to the expectations.

With constant pressure mounting on the player, United are looking for a way to offload the defender. However, while Manchester United had reached a deal with West Ham this summer, it seems like Maguire wants to stay and fight for his place.

While some fans believe that the club and manager Erik Ten Hag should give the defender a chance, many believe Harry is way past the needed chances. Maguire is hoping to impress the manager in the coming outings but his time at United might come to an end pretty soon if things don’t change in the coming future.
