The reports emerging from the transfer market claim Neymar Jr. is open to move to his former club Barcelona. He left the Spanish club in a record-breaking transfer in 2017. Despite being on the Asia tour, unlike Mbappe, the PSG hierarchy reportedly informed the former Barcelona man is not in their plans.

And it seems his former employer is interested in taking him back after Ousmane Dembele left. However, there’s an issue at the club for signing Neymar. An account specializing in Barcelona news has highlighted the difference in opinions between Joan Laporta and Xavi.

Accordingly, Xavi is against the signing, as he feels Neymar is not ideal for the dressing room harmony. On the other hand, Laporta is seeking the Brazilian. The president believes Neymar could be crucial for Barcelona. The PSG superstar will boost the finances through new sponsors, increased jersey sales, and fill the stadiums, according to Laporta.
