Al Nassr again fell into the ditch as they endured yet another setback. The Knights of Najd suffered a 2-1 loss in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final against Al Hilal. Unfortunately, the situation worsened for Luis Castro and Co. in the Riyadh Derby as Cristiano Ronaldo got into a physical altercation with rival star Ali Albulayhi. Coincidentally, it was the same player who squared up with Lionel Messi earlier. 

It looks like fate never wants Al Hilal to stop his on-pitch antics. Speaking of the incident, the viral clip showcases Ronaldo receiving a long ball in the penalty box. However, the skipper failed to control it with his chest, resulting in Al Hilal’s goalkeeper Yassine Bounou catching the ball in his arms. To the 39-year-old’s misery, instead of kicking the ball, he slammed Yasser Alshahrani’s shin. While both Ronaldo and Alshahrani were rolling on the ground in pain, Ali Albulayhi approached Ronaldo and trash-talked him. 

Forgetting his pain, CR7 quickly stood up and pushed the center back with his shoulder, carrying forward with the game. Meanwhile, this caught the eye of Sergej Milinković-Savić, who urged Albulayhi to not instigate Ronaldo as it could lead to unnecessary problems for the leading side. Perhaps the Al Hilal defender might have asked the Al Nassr to quit acting as if it were a mere contact. Either way, it was quite an eyebrow-raising incident caught on camera. Notably, this wasn’t the only altercation that took place between Albulayhi and Ronaldo. 

The final moments of the game saw the former Real Madrid man again square up with the Saudi Arabian defender, forcing the referee to send the No. 7 off. Meanwhile, let’s see how Albulayhi ended up getting involved with Ronaldo’s long-term rival, Lionel Messi.
