But it’s the first time after 2018 that the team has won a playoff match. After the game, Megan Rapinoe ecstatically shared her take on their next match with Alex Morgan‘s San Diego Wave FC.

OL Reign will be a strong competitor for San Diego Wave FC, who won the NWSL Shield in 2023 after beating Racing Louisville 2-0. The Wave currently stands 1st in the competition with 37 points. The fixture will be a thrilling one as soccer’s best Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan face off for the NWSL glory.

In a post-match interview, the Rapinoe was asked about their upcoming tie against San Diego. The forward shared some stern remarks.

She said, “Oh, it’s gonna be a good one. It’s gonna be a good one. we are not going to give away our game plan but you know we don’t like each other so much.” Megan Rapinoe’s cheeky hit at the San Diego team can raise tensions in the upcoming semi-final.
