After all the run-ins with the weather yesterday which resulted in Free Practice 2 getting cancelled, FP3 and Qualifying went ahead as scheduled. It was a very topsy turvy qualifying but Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton endured to score a brilliant pole position with a time of 1:31.678. Behind him, in a repeat of the Australian GP top 4, were Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel, Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas and Vettel’s teammate Kimi Raikkonen.
