“Yeah. No doubt about that. Maybe that’s Dana’s plan. I don’t know. Who knows what that guy’s doing? I smell retirement soon from him.” said Paul. When asked why he thinks so, Jake Paul answered, “I think he’s just like, kind of over it, like, I don’t know. And the UFC is just not… it’s not what it was.”
He further elaborated on why he thinks the UFC is peaked, “They just don’t have like, any… they have some stars. Like, two. Whereas before like the heydays, there was like f*****g 30 stars, 20 stars. That could all sell pay-per-views…. it’s not just like this one place anymore.”
Paul further added, “They peaked with McGregor. McGregor vs Khabib was their peak. They’ll never get anything like that again.” and concludes with this bold statement.
Dana White sheds light on McGregor vs. Paul
Jake Paul once showed an interest in fighting the UFC superstar Conor McGregor. He used every trick in the book to grab McGregor’s attention, but couldn’t prevail. Paul finally tweeted Dana White with a rather risky offer.
Dana – Since you like me now, how about a 1 fight UFC deal to fight Conor.
If I win, you agree to my UFC fighter pay and healthcare proposal.
If I lose I donate my entire purse to all UFC fighters who make less than $50K a fight and never mention UFC again
Deal?

However, White didn’t respond to the tweet but cleared the air on Logan Paul‘s podcast. “Probably not,” said Dana White, on the possibility of Conor McGregor vs. Jake Paul. “I’m never closed off to anything. I used to say that about, you know, things. But I don’t say that anymore. Because you never know. You never know what could happen.” Said, White.
