Fans of combat sports would know that only a few fighters in boxing have managed to attain a flawless record, while in MMA only Khabib Nurmagomedov has matched that feat. Mixed Martial arts is not an easy sport to compete in and it is indeed a lot harder to have a flawless career in.

However, losing a few fights in boxing can nose dive anyone’s career to the point of no return. This is why ‘The Gypsy King‘ is regarded so highly, as he shares the same unbeaten record as Khabib, and he acknowledged his greatness with a special message on Instagram. Fury stated that Khabib did everything right in his career and exited the sport with an unblemished record.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is eyeing to achieve new heights of success in MMA
Tyson Fury is currently preparing for his title defense, which will put him up against Dillian Whyte. Meanwhile, Khabib has changed gears in his career as he hopes to train the future crop of champions. Retiring on top wasn’t nearly enough for the 33-year-old fighter, as he looks to dive into the world of promoting fights.

The UFC star has now come up with his own MMA organization ‘Eagle FC’ and has already hosted his first event in the U.S. The first-ever fight card of the promotion featured retired MMA fighter and former UFC champion, Rashad Evans, who faced Thiago Silva. The main event featured Tyrone Spong against veteran Russian wrestler, Sergei Kharitonov.

The former lightweight champion has acknowledged that promoting fights is not an easy job, as stated by UFC president Dana White. In a recent statement, he admitted that he needs to seek the help of his former boss, and plans to meet him soon.
