Top UFC lightweight star Dustin Poirier will enter a new role this weekend at UFC 287. As per reports, the #2 ranked lightweight contender is all set for his first outing as a desk analyst. The former interim lightweight champion will join UFC veteran Din Thomas and broadcast veteran Michael Eaves on the post-fight show. The rest of the crew will be the usual faces.

Megan Olivi will be the roving reporter. The fan-favorite trio of Jon Anik, Joe Rogan, and Daniel Cormier will be the cage side commentators. Meanwhile, the legendary Bruce Buffer will be the voice of the octagon.

UFC 287 will be headlined by the rematch between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira. Poirier fought Michael Chandler on the main card when Adesanya and Pereira fought in November last year. Poirier will be present for the rematch as well. Only this time, he will not be in action.

‘The Diamond’ has not fought since beating Michael Chandler at UFC 281. The talk of the town is a rematch between him and Justin Gaethje. With no news of Poirier’s next fight, fans had quite a few reactions to the news of his new UFC role.

News of Dustin Poirier doing a desk job at UFC 287 took a few fans by surprise. Many of them had a few interesting reactions to the news.
