The MMA community is ruthless. Fighters try to knock out each other relentlessly inside the cage and outside the cage a Twitter battle is always brewing. The latest in the series comes from the middleweight division, where #7 Sean Strickland took a dig on Julian Marquez. The tweet involved the 32-year-old’s long-time crush and singer-turned-actor Miley Cyrus. Marquez had once expressed his love for Cyrus. He did it in the post-fight interview at UFC. He came out after defeating Mike Pitolo and asked if Miley Cyrus could go out with him and how he loved her since Hannah Montana’s days.

The timing of the tweet makes it more interesting. Miley Cyrus’s song flower has been called out by media houses and fans. Elsa Pataky also talked about how the song was about her relationship with Liam Hemsworth. Elsa Paky is Liam Hemsworth’s sister-in-law. She is married to Chris Hemsworth and was friends with Cyrus when she was married to Liam.

The song has been a point of discussion for a good deal of entertainment media houses as theories came out that the house in the music video has been shot in was used by Liam Hemsworth to cheat on Miley Cyrus.

Sean Strickland jibes at UFC middleweight’s love story

Sean Strickland posted on his Twitter handle a tweet that had Miley Cyrus tagged in it. It read,

Julian Marquez expressed his love for Miley Cyrus after UFC 258 and he drew a tweet from Miley Cyrus. Miley Cyrus had asked ‘The Cuban Missile Crisis’ to shave out her initials on his chest hair. Marquez, in response, asked the pop star to get his nickname,

She, however, defended her husband saying she had grown up and had no secrets about her relationship with Liam.
