Conor McGregor Reacts After Dana White Raises UFC 300 Bonus to $300,000

The historic UFC 300 event just got a hundred times better. The proverb “Ask and you shall receive” took on new meaning at the UFC 300 pre-fight presser when Dana White heard the fighters’ demands and agreed to increase the bonus amount to what the fighters asked for. The decision was made during the presser but oh boy did it rile up the fighters to their core.
UFC 300 is stacked with exciting fights, and with headliners like Alex Pereira, Jamahal Hill, Justin Gaethje, and Max Holloway, it’s clear things are going to get bloody. Nonetheless, Conor McGregor has come forward to appreciate Dana White for his generosity towards the fighters. Let’s take a look at what the former dual-weight champion had to say:

Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway were the frontrunners when it came to increasing the bonus from a meager $50000 to a massive $300000. Ahead of the press conference, Holloway was pushing White to increase the amount to an astronomical number and the reporter’s question to Dana White was like the fire to the gasoline.
Amid the hubbub, White surprised everyone when he agreed with the fighter’s demands and increased the amount to $300000. Interestingly, Conor Mcgregor was looking closely at the press conference and as soon as the announcement was made, McGregor took to his X handle to appreciate White for his words.

UFC 300 is expected to work wonders for the promotion and the bonus announcement was just the exact thing needed to fire up the fighters. Nonetheless, McGregor has only one thing to say for the UFC 300 main event.

Alex Pereira vs. Jamahal Hill is a match made in heaven. The light heavyweight champion is about to defend his belt against the former champion to headline the grand night. There was some wholesome interaction between the fighters ahead of the presser but as soon as the fighters faced each other, it all came down to only one thing: Fight.
At the presser, Hill and Pereira were fierce against each other. Interestingly, Conor McGregor seems to be looking forward to witnessing a clash between these giants. Through his Instagram handle the former dual-weight champion took center stage to increase the hype around the fight. “Incredibly intriguing bout”, wrote McGregor while sharing a video of Hill and Pereira’s face-off.
