Hollywood actor Chris Pratt’s love for mixed martial arts is no secret. ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy’ actor has on multiple occasions been noticed cage side in quite a few UFC events. Fans will also remember how the 43-year-old once infamously got into the wrong side of Israel Adesanya prompting the middleweight to respond back. Now the actor seems to have worked his Hollywood magic on none other than MMA’s very own John Kavanagh. The SBG head coach recently tweeted a photo of himself recreating a scene from one of the Jurassic world movies. The coach, famous for mentioning Conor McGregor, funnily claimed to have even learned the particular move he recreated from Pratt and his movies.

In the tweet, Kavanagh is seen posing in his living room while ‘Jurassic world dominion’ plays in the background. The scene portrayed Chris Pratt and his co-actor trying to stop a dinosaur with their hands. He tweeted, “If there’s one thing I’ve learned from Chris Pratt it’s that this is the universal gesture to hold back dinosaurs”. He followed it with the hashtag, “#JurassicPark”.

Chris Pratt’s relationship with the UFC

The Hollywood actor has had quite an interesting connection with the sport and UFC. He last made headlines for the wrong reasons when he criticized Israel Adesanya for having a boring fight against Jared Cannonier. The former middleweight champ had promptly clapped back at the actor, forcing Pratt to apologize publicly in a tweet

As for his connection with SBG, the 43-year-old actor had previously professed his admiration for Conor McGregor and the gym in a 2018 interview. Responding to whether he’d like to train at SBG, Pratt had responded, “I’m a huge fan of MMA obviously. Conor’s camp, they’re terrific. Like you said, they’re one of the best in the world. I have a lot of friends in other gyms. Look, no question [SBG Ireland] is world-class and they created maybe the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world out there and there’s some great fighters coming up out of there and I’d love to go”.
