The education department recently stripped a New York teacher of her job because of Joe Rogan. In episode 1757 of The Joe Rogan Experience, fans saw Dr. Robert Malone. The guest is an American physician and biochemist. Dr. Malone is a noted personality among science enthusiasts. However, in the late 2021 period, Dr. Malone reportedly promoted and contributed to the misinformation about Covid-19 being spread. He pushed back on the Government’s narrative of Covid-19 and its vaccinations. This ultimately led to his ban on Twitter. Following this, people started questioning whether this was necessary or not.

Fast forward some time, a teacher in New York gave an assignment to her students. Mrs. Rickson needed to be made aware of what was coming her way. The assignment included watching a Joe Rogan interview. When an appeal was filed against the teacher, they took the matter to the ‘New York State’s Department of Education’. Considering the appeal, they ultimately fired the teacher.

Due to the nature of the controversy, they ultimately questioned the teacher. Upon giving Joe Rogan’s video as a reference to the assignment, it became a notable case. Episode 1757 of ‘The JRE’ featured Malone. Following his controversial ban, they also accused the teacher of “misusing” her power. The plea said that the assignment had, “no valid curricular purpose”

The main role the famous podcaster played here was to host an interview with a controversial personality. Dr. Malone’s opinions on the Covid-19 situation turned everything upside down. Fans know Rogan for discussing several topics in his podcast. However, due to Malone’s views, this particular episode crashed the NY teacher’s career.

After several months now, Dr. Malone has gotten his Twitter account back. Since then, he has been tweeting non-stop. His recent tweet mentioned the issue, “Crazy times… A teacher in NY was fired for having students listen to my interview with Rogan in an extra credit assignment. Commissioner of education demanded reinstatement with back pay, and evidently, the district refuses to follow the order.”
