Dana White Hits Back at Francis Ngannou for Recent Pay Comments

Even if the fight between Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather wasn’t one of the best displays of boxing, it revealed something else. The financial potential that the fight game has. Both the parties did not leave any stone unturned in promoting the event. Floyd Mayweather estimated he would likely make around $100 million from the Logan Paul fight. Jake Paul, Logan Paul’s younger brother, made about $75 million in his fight against Ben Askren.
The Paul brothers’ prizefighting venture opens up many questions for fighters who have invested their lives in the sport. Many fighters question what they might have done wrong because they are nowhere near making that much. The UFC’s heavyweight champion was one such fighter.
It's crazy to think that Logan Paul (0-1) just made $20M on a boxing exhibition.
WHAT ARE WE DOING WRONG? 🤔

Ngannou’s question was directed towards the UFC’s financial machinery. In recent times, the issue of pay has been raised and discussed many times by UFC fighters. As the popularity of MMA grows, the fighters who are the ones churning out the content would definitely want their fair share.
“You Are Not a Fu*king YouTuber”- Dana White Destroys Paulo Costa in an Epic Rant
Dana White easily quashed Ngannou’s question. He responded to Ngannou’s tweet without addressing him directly. “This YouTube kid fights, and they all start going crazy.‘What am I doing wrong?’ Well, you should’ve started a YouTube channel when you were 12 years old and you’d be YouTube famous right now and you could be boxing Floyd Mayweather, I guess. That’s the answer,” he said.
Will Dana White be ever able to rectify the fighter pay issue?
White’s stance on the issue has been consistent even when the criticism of the UFC supremo has varied over the past months. Jake Paul, who is calling out UFC fighters online, also took their side, questioning White over UFC’s business.
