The American mixed martial artist, Dillon Danis, has dreamed of joining the UFC for a long time. Now, the 30-year-old can officially do so if Dana White considers it. The Bellator MMA fighter was recently released from his Bellator contract following an epic loss against Logan Paul. While his boxing match was nothing short of a fiasco, his UFC debut could hold greater value.

The fighter from Team Conor McGregor has always been a controversial figure. Perhaps it’s all just the influence of one trash-talking Irishman. Danis had a lot to say about Paul before losing to him. Now, he sets his eyes on Dana White and Co. with an ultimatum that could be tempting.

Dillon Danis is desperate to join the UFC
Danis is a free agent now. So the 30-year-old can go just about anywhere he likes, as long as different promotions entertain him. However, it looks like Dillon Danis only wants the UFC. Quite evidently, the fighter had not been very competitive at Bellator before the Logan Paul match.
Being an active fighter was tough, thanks to his injuries at several points in time. However, will it also stop him from entering the UFC? The CEO and president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Dana White, has so far not expressed any real wish to accept the fighter into his promotion. However, things could change after Danis gave out a final notice about his career to White.

The former Pan Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi fighter made it clear that if it’s not the UFC, he’s out of the picture. However, fans are left wondering if Danis’ word can be trusted after all that went down at his last boxing match. The fighter clearly loves entertainment, much like Conor McGregor, so will he really quit if things don’t pan out? There’s no way to tell.

Why would Danis quit MMA?
Perhaps losing an anticipated bout to a YouTuber-turned-boxer helped his early retirement goals. The fighter is only 30 years old. After winning two bouts in Bellator, Danis became more and more inactive. The Paul fight revived his career, but it didn’t end well.

After trying takedown attempts in a boxing match, Danis was disqualified from the ring. Paul won, and ‘El Jefe’ gained a reputation for being entertaining but not quite bringing the proposed fight. However, do you think his antics will be enough to bring him to the Octagon? Will Dana White respond to ‘El Jefe’? It looks like we’ll have to wait to find out.
