Marvin Vettori beat Kevin Holland in the main event of UFC Fight Night Vettori vs Holland. Now, ‘The Italian Dream’ is on a five-fight winning streak after his last split decision loss against Israel Adesanya. One man who had his eye on proceedings was Darren Till.
The Englishman wasn’t impressed by what he saw from ‘The Italian Dream’. After the event, Darren Till quickly took a shot at Vettori via Twitter.
He wrote, “As for marv… sorry ork. It wasn’t the prettiest win but a wins a win and it means so much to him you can see. That fight told me he knew he couldn’t strike with me so he was going to try take me down. Even if he were to succeed in takedowns he wouldn’t of been able to keep me.”

‘The Gorilla’ was ruled out of the fight due to a collarbone injury that occurred during his training. Nevertheless, UFC marched forward with the event and took ‘Trailblazer’ up on his offer to step in at short notice.
Vettori took a leaf out of Derek Brunson’s book and dominated the bout. He took the fight to the ground with ease and landed a middleweight record 11 takedowns en route to a unanimous decision win.
