Dricus du Plessis Claps Back at Israel Adesanya With a Grim 5 Word Message Days After the Middleweight Champ Picked Him to Win Against Robert Whittaker

Israel Adesanya and Dricus du Plessis‘ beef is showing no signs of a peaceful resolution. After Adesanya’s comments during a recent appearance on ‘The MMA Hour’, Du Plessis has now retorted to the champion via his social media.
Adesanya and Du Plessis’ beef started back when the latter called him a ‘real African’ unlike Adesanya. du Plessis was stating how he was born in South Africa and trained out of there unlike Adesanya who trains in New Zealand. These comments touched a nerve with Adesanya and the two have been going back and forth ever since.
Adesanya wanted to fight du Plessis in July as per his statement on ‘The MMA Hour.’ ‘Stylebender’ has begun lapping his division as a champion and wanted a fresh challenge. However, the UFC brass decided to put du Plessis through a test of fire by matching him against former champion Robert Whittaker. Their fight will go down at UFC 290 and will essentially be a title eliminator.

While talking to Ariel Helwani, Adesanya made some comments about his expectations about Whittaker vs. du Plessis. Now, ‘Stillknocks’ has responded to the champion with another knock.

Talking to Helwani about Du Plessis vs. Whittaker, Israel Adesanya said, “I’m going to manifest him winning this fight in the first round. And when he does, I’m gonna be right there in the cage so he can turn around in September. No bullsh*t. No ‘I’m hurt this and that.’ Nope. We’re gonna fight in Sydney in September.”
Adesanya’s desire to have a go at Du Plessis was evident in his words. The #6 ranked middleweight had to respond in kind to the champion when he came across a news article about these comments.

du Plessis took to his Instagram story and shared a screenshot of the news article. Then, he wrote, “Yeah… manifesting your next loss!” The 29-year-old further tagged UFC president Dana White asking for a fight against Adesanya, who was also tagged in the story.
Adesanya and du Plessis rivalry and mutual dislike are out in the open for everyone to see. Both of them want to fight each other but that heavily depends on du Plessis winning at UFC 290. Do you think he will get it done?
