Paddy Pimblett, nicknamed “Paddy the Baddy” is a 27-year-old UFC fighter. The English fighter is relatively young in the MMA scene and sought advice from a legend of the game. Former Light Heavyweight champion, Tito Ortiz, was invited to a podcast by the English fighter.

Tito Ortiz advised Paddy Pimblett to follow three rules
Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett is a fan-favorite fighter. His form on the Octagon has been very impressive in the lightweight division. He currently holds a record of 22 matches with 19 wins and 3 losses in his career. In a recent podcast, with MMA legend Tito Ortiz, the young fighter sought some advice related to trash-talking his opponents.

The first is “… Don’t talk about a person’s family,” which he expands on later. adding

The second is, “Don’t talk about a person’s country…” He explains because fans of the country will take offense and there’s nothing to gain from losing fans.
The final rule is “Don’t lie.”
He adds, “If you can do those three things and you can talk s*** and you can back it up… the fans love it”

The former Light Heavyweight said he followed these three golden rules throughout his career to Paddy Pimblett. Claiming that trash-talking is something fans love, but shouldn’t really backfire or cross a line… Which Conor McGregor has done, according to the UFC legend.
Ortiz doesn’t approve of Conor McGregor’s ways
He mentions Conor McGregor in the conversation “Guys like Conor…” “They start talking about people’s wives and sh*t… That’s just a line that shouldn’t be (crossed)” The fighter added, “… Families can’t defend themselves.”

UFC legend, Conor McGregor, is infamous for his trash-talking. But, UFC legend Tito Ortiz doesn’t appreciate McGregor’s way.

Because ‘Notorious’ doesn’t really filter himself and no topic is off-bounds for trash-talking. There are entire compilations on YouTube showing how much McGregor indulges in trash-talking.
The Irishman has also spoken ill about Jolie Poirier before his face-off against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
