Israel Adesanya has been out of the frame for a while now. The Middleweight fighter has not confirmed his return yet. However, fans need not worry, since ‘Izzy’ is not going anywhere soon. The Nigerian-born fighter is not out of UFC and certainly not out of opinions regarding fights in the promotion. In a recent video uploaded on Adesanya’s YouTube channel ‘FREESTYLEBENDER’, the fighter addressed a recent fight. The Last Stylebender’s reaction and insight for the UFC 283 fight are priceless. From the perspective of an African man, the fighter replied, and the words uttered by him were not just analytical, but emotional, as well.

In the video, when Adesanya was asked about the main event, his words were wise. The fighter made sure to give Glover Teixeira his due respect. As the Brazilian fighter retired after his UFC 283 match, many people showed their respect toward him. Similarly, ‘Izzy’ did not fall behind in respecting the UFC light-heavyweight legend. But on the same hand, he did not take a step back to praise the winner of the fight, Jamahal Hill. The middleweight fighter appreciated the new light-heavyweight champion for his technicalities. However, he connected with Hill’s moment upon winning the title.

Israel Adesanya feels connected to Jamahal Hill

The 33-year-old fighter is known for his honesty. When it comes to Adesanya, he does not mince words to suit the audience. The former middleweight champion talks his heart out. In the recent video, the fighter was asked, “did watching the belt get wrapped around Jamahal fire up?Adesanya’s reply to this question was pretty interesting. While the question in itself was emotion-oriented, the middleweight fighter did not make a single effort to hide his emotions, either.

The talented fighter relates to the UFC 283 winner on every possible level. He couldn’t ignore the fact that he himself had to go through something similar when he won a title fight in UFC 236.

When Adesanya became the champion

‘The Last Stylebender’ made his UFC debut in UFC 221. This was back in the year 2018. A year later, in UFC 236, the fighter won the interim middleweight title against Kelvin Gastelum. Post that, he defeated Robert Whittaker and became the undisputed champion.

He even decided to try his luck against Jan Blachowicz for the light heavyweight title. But things didn’t go his way, and he experienced his first-ever professional MMA loss. His second MMA loss was against Alex Pereira at UFC 281, wherein he lost his middleweight title.
