Entering as the betting favorite and with former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in his corner, the title contender put on an impressive display. As a result, he left the venue with the title on his waist. Midst of all celebrations, the former UFC champion, Michael Bisping became an unlikely target of some fans.

The former middleweight champion was referring to the abuse and the flake he got after the event. Besides admitting that Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev had passionate followers, Bisping shared his side of the story.
The 43-year-old actor said, “Because I swear to God, on Twitter and stuff like that people have been going, ‘oh look at you’.”
“Do you think I, I have something against Dagestan? Is, they think, I’m picking against them? Because they’re Muslim?”, he added further.
Following this, Bisping recalled his last podcast conversation with Anthony Smith. The UFC Hall of Fame athlete cleared up that he didn’t want to underestimate Charles Oliveira. The Brazilian fighter was on an 11-win streak entering the fight. Therefore, the ‘XXX: Return of Xander Cage’ actor picked the Brazilian over the Russian fighter to emerge as the victor and claim the vacant lightweight title.
