UFC welterweight star Jorge Masvidal spoke to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour and talked about his recent fight cancelation. ‘Gamebred’ was supposed to face Leon Edwards on the main card for UFC 269 in December, however, he suffered an undisclosed injury. With that fight out of the way, Jorge Masvidal now has time to look for another marquee opponent to go after.

It seems as though the Miami native has found his next adversary in the form of UFC megastar Conor McGregor. Both men went at it on Twitter not too long ago and it’s possible they might fight each other next. Masvidal fired back on Twitter after Conor McGregor’s initial tweet and it’s clear that there is some bad blood brewing.

Masvidal made sure to take some not-so-subtle jabs at McGregor’s past transgressions in his recent outburst on The MMA Hour. He mentioned McGregor’s recent video pacing around his living room waiting for the Max Holloway vs Yair Rodriguez fight to begin. Furthermore, he also made reference to McGregor’s attack on an old man in a pub that took place a few years ago.

“I’m just trying to get big paychecks and fights. You go to rehab motherfu**er and treat older people the right way. When they sign us to fight, I’ll teach you some respect. I really could care dude, he’s like a 45’er you know. I’m a 170-pounder, full-grown man-size.”
