‘Iron’ Mike Chandler is fresh off a title fight bout against Charles Oliveira from May 2021 at UFC 262. It was his second fight in the UFC and he was on the verge of finishing ‘Do Bronx’ on the feet and capturing the vacant strap. However, the tide turned in round 2 and Oliveira mounted a comeback of epic proportions to stop Chandler.
On the other hand, Justin Gaethje hasn’t fought since UFC 254 in October 2020 and was the last man to ever fight Khabib Nurmagomedov in the UFC. While he found some success with leg kicks and close-range strikes, ultimately he fell to ‘The Eagle’. Gaethje was choked unconscious by the Dagestan native who finished the fight via triangle choke.
