This practice video comes after the comments made by former UFC champion, Cejudo.

In a YouTube video on his channel, Cejudo stated that according to him, Masvidal is the perfect opponent for Conor McGregor upon his return.

He stated, “This is a good fight for Conor McGregor,” and added McGregor had an advantage because “there’s really no grappling involved. You want guys that can strike and that want to strike and don’t want to grapple.”

He also considered it to be easy for ‘The Notorious’ as Masvidal is on a losing streak. He lost twice against welterweight #2 ranked, Kamaru Usman and his last match against Colby Covington.

However, fans haven’t forgotten the Irishman’s losses.

Cejudo claimed that McGregor would be ready to compete in the welterweight division. Also, ‘Mystic Mac’ recently confirmed his interest in the welterweight belt a while ago.

Cejudo added, “I think Jorge Masvidal would be the best return for him, 170 pounds. They both have the mouthpiece. Just imagine how many pay-per-views they could sell.”

Thus, for Cejudo, from a stylistic and business perspective, the matchup seems like a good one.
