Alexander Volkanovski and Islam Makhachev are all set to land against each other in the Octagon. While both fighters have kept themselves busy with their training, sometimes they need a break. Khabib Nurmagomedov probably ensures that Makhachev does not overexert himself right before the fight. However, the Australian warrior has a different approach. Who knew that the pound-for-pound number one could sing?
Volkanovski was recently seen vibing and singing to the Backstreet Boys. However, the fans not only praised the fighter but also added some quirky comments in regard to his upcoming fight.

Fans react to Alexander Volkanovski singing
Full Violence recently uploaded a video of the ‘Great’ Volkanovski on Instagram. The video showed the Australian martial artist singing and vibing to Backstreet Boys’ ‘Tell Me Why’. Surprisingly, Volkanovski sang it pretty well. Furthermore, the fighter really seemed like he was enjoying the music.

However, it took a different turn as the fans turned to the comments section. The UFC fans connected Volkanovski’s next opponent with the singing. Although many fans praised the fighter for his taste in music and his voice, some had a bit different point of view. Some of the fans took it out in the form of jokes and puns, thinking about the upcoming bout between Volkanovski and Makhachev. Furthermore, many fans also supported Makhachev and warned the Australian.

Islam Makhachev sends a warning to ‘The Great’
Volkanovski previously admitted that Nurmagomedov’s prodigy is in fact far too superior in grappling. Acknowledging that, he said that there was a high probability of Makhachev taking him down to the ground. However, the pound-for-pound number one believed that he could get back up. He revealed that he was working on it. He further guaranteed that he’d be composed and calm in case he was taken down.

Unquestionably, Makhachev’s faith in his skills is pretty high. He went to Twitter and responded with might. The prodigy warned, “After first 15 helpless seconds on the ground, I guarantee you will panic.”
