

Former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez has chimed in on the ongoing ‘Liver King‘ situation. Brian Johnson, a.k.a. ‘Liver King’, is currently under fire for alleged steroid use. Alvarez took to Twitter to share bits from a conversation he had with Johnson last year.

Johnson became famous for eating raw liver and preaching an ancestral lifestyle. He attributed his buff physique to this ‘ancestral living.’ He built a multimillion-dollar brand by selling this idea primarily on Tik Tok.

Eddie Alvarez shared an old message from ‘Liver King’
Recently, another fitness influencer came forward saying he had evidence of the ‘Liver King’ using steroids. Derek, familiar to the fans from his YouTube channel ‘MorePlatesMoreDates’ disclosed emails allegedly containing details of Johnson’s steroid use. This has burst the bubble that Johnson built on social media.

In response to this entire fiasco, Eddie Alvarez shared an old conversation he had with the ‘Liver King.’ In the picture, viewers can see ‘Liver King’ explaining the benefits of his ancestral living.

“I’ve never cheated nor taken a shortcut in any capacity of life,” wrote Johnson. He then derided the modern man’s diet and lifestyle. He focused on the ‘9 Ancestral Tenets’ that he preached would “unlock… your inner beast.” Interestingly, he also pointed out how it would “optimize your testosterone, your growth hormone, your IGF-1, your DHT, key metabolic markers” to help you achieve a higher version of yourself.

When Joe Rogan accused ‘Liver King’ of steroid use
During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan openly accused the ‘Liver King’ of using steroids. Rogan was talking to renowned neuroscientist Andrew Huberman, who agreed with Rogan‘s statements. He added that there was no evidence to support what the ‘Liver King’ was claiming.

“The Liver King thing drives me nuts because that guy is on steroids. Just shut the fu** up. I know he’s eating really healthy. It’s clear he’s eating all these animal foods and you know, he’s eating organ meat, which is very rich in nutrients, and that’s true but he’s dodging the main bullet.”

Months after Rogan’s accusations, evidence has surfaced that proves the millionaire podcaster may have been correct. ‘Liver King’s brand has taken a hit and is being heavily trolled by fans and fighters alike.
