The assault didn’t seem to stop there as Hill followed up with another punch, knocking out his brother’s tooth, leaving James dazed. The Officer noted that he saw “significant swelling” on the face of Jamahal’s brother.

It was reported that the argument began to get more heated when James asked Jamahal why he never texted his own daughter who was at their house for Thanksgiving also accusing the former UFC champ of being disrespectful to women and even abandoning his daughter.

Jamahal Hill headed into trial

After the incident that occurred on the night of Thanksgiving, UFC’s Jamahal Hill will go to trial for the assault on his brother just one month after his UFC 300 headliner. Released court documents suggest that Jamahal Hill did assault his brother at a home on Quaker Hill Court SE.

“Sweet Dreams” will take on Alex Pereira at the main event of UFC 300 for the UFC light-heavyweight title. Hill will finally get a shot at reclaiming the UFC title which he vacated after rupturing his Achilles in June 2023.

Though the UFC 300 event will be the biggest event in “Sweet Dreams” career so far, he has more on his shoulders than just the worry of the fight. The only hope right now is for the Michigan native to perform his best despite the court case he has after a month of the fight.
