Anyone and everyone who is even remotely connected to the sporting world is bound to get into the Lionel Messi vs. Cristiano Ronaldo debate. The two legendary football (Soccer) players have polarized the sport for the past two decades and continue to do so even now. Notably, even MMA’s very own Joe Rogan too got caught up in it. And his answer is a little unconventional.
In a recent iteration of his blockbuster podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan invited fellow podcaster and famous personality, Lex Fridman. A little into their conversation, the duo found themselves enveloped in the ever-old Messi vs. Ronaldo debate. However, as Rogan was a little out of the loop with football banter, he let Fridman take the lead and asked him his opinion on the debate.

To which Fridman replied with Messi, as the former believes Messi has better game IQ and movements compared to Ronaldo. However, Fridman had a question for Rogan regarding the same.
“But the main point is the movement. I think everyone agrees is when you watch him, it’s art. And I was thinking in the same way who is that, like if you didn’t see the face or the uniform if u just saw there, you’ll still be like, you can still tell it’s Messi. And I was thinking, who is that for MMA?” Fridman asked.
And Without a doubt, Rogan declared “Mighty Mouse” as the MMA counterpart of football legend Lionel Messi.

Many people, especially fans, considered Tyron Woodley vs. Jake Paul bout rigged as the latter twitched his hand before delivering a thunderous right hook to ‘The Chosen One’ in the sixth round of their bout, which flattened him on the mat. However, Joe Rogan has a different opinion.
“He’s [Jake Paul] been saying he’s suffering from slurring words and loss of memory already. It doesn’t take long if you spar a lot… he’s f**king good though. People want to pretend he’s not because he’s a YouTube guy, the way he knocked out Tyron Woodley that is f**king skillful and he’s got real f**king power,” Rogan told comedian Tim Dillon on episode 1752 of The Joe Rogan Experience.
