Rogan sat alongside Radio Rahim on JRE #1814 to discuss how Paul would do against a legit boxer. He first mentioned how Paul openly challenged promoter Eddie Hearn, in which Paul said that he would knock out any fighter with less than ten fights in the promotion.
Rogan said, “What if Jake Paul knocks one of them out?” He continued by adding, “Jake Paul can crack. One hundred percent. That knockout against Tyron Woodley is legit as f**k.”
To change people’s perspectives and further support his arguments, Joe Rogan expressed a hypothetical situation. He said, “If Jake Paul wasn’t Jake Paul, if he wasn’t this YouTube guy, he was just a boxer… you see a boxer knock out the former UFC Welterweight Champion. Not just the former, but one of the best ever. You’d be like, have you seen this Jake Paul dude coming up? He’s for real!”
He also praised Paul’s boxing movement and feints. He mentioned that Paul didn’t fight like he was in a celebrity boxing match and said, “He fights like a boxer.”
Jake Paul’s Boxing History
Jake Paul’s transition to boxing happened in 2018 when he took on British YouTuber Deji Olatunji in an amateur boxing match. He made his professional debut in 2019 when he faced off against Youtuber AnEsonGib. Paul breezed past his opponent, winning via TKO in the very first round.
