This time an old commentary clip of Mike Goldberg throwing shade at Rogan went viral after Rogan said, “Black Guy Jones, White Guy Gusmao.” Rogan made that remark during Jon Jones’ UFC debut. It resurfaced on Twitter and fans couldn’t stop laughing.

At UFC 87 back in 2008, ‘Bones’ made his UFC debut. He defeated Andre Gusmao in the event. However, the event was remembered for something else.

During the start of the fight, the commentary booth took part in a classic exchange that the fans have not forgotten yet. The commentary team of Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg introduced the fighters in a different way. While Goldberg introduced Jones and Gusmao in his conventional manner, Rogan had his own innovative way.

Mike Goldberg said, “Short black trunks for Jones. White trunks for Gusmao.” To which Joe Rogan replied, “Or black guy Jones. White guy Gusmao.”

Hilariously, the pair continued with Goldberg saying, “That was said by Joe Rogan.” Joe Rogan concluded by saying, “I never understand why people don’t say that.” It is undeniable that the UFC commentator loves the sport and makes it interesting while sharing some of the fighter’s experiences. Moreover, fans love to see and hear from the former fear factor host.
