UFC commentator and JRE host Joe Rogan needs no introduction to MMA fans. The 55-year-old’s contribution to the growth of UFC and MMA, in general, is something that stands unparalleled amongst his peers. But despite his massive success within and beyond the sport, Rogan has also been the victim of unnecessary criticism from a certain section of the population. While some do have legitimate reasons for their criticism of the stand-up comedian, there also have been completely illogical condemnations of Rogan.

One such particular angle that haters of the commentator tend to go back to is the height of the 55-year-old. Since he is not necessarily a tall individual, internet trolls have time and again used that aspect of Rogan to mock him. Now, this angle has been freshly brought up after photos of the comedian standing beside Valentina Shevchenko and other female UFC fighters started doing the rounds online.

MMA Reddit reacts to post comparing Joe Rogan’s height to female fighters

The image in the discussion had Rogan standing beside ‘Bullet’, Alexa Grasso, and another UFC ring girl. As per the height mentioned on the post, all the women in the photo were supposed to be of 5’5 height. Slamming the commentator for misleading his followers, the post was captioned: “Joe “I’m 5 foot 8 inches tall” Rogan”

Fans of the successful podcaster came out in his defense by calling out the people mocking Rogan. Although there were also a few who seemed to hate the commentator and took the chance to troll him.

“What’s with people’s weird obsession on Joe’s height? It literally doesn’t affect anyone’s life but his own.”

“Ya it doesn’t seem to matter for him either. It is also the same “body positive” people who can make fun of his body just because they don’t like his opinions. But who also think it’s wrong to criticize other people for the type of body they have. It’s a bit fucking ridiculous.”

“So what the guys short why do people actually give a  f**k lmao.”

There were a few who did poke fun at the 55-year-old.

“Short guy exaggerates his height! Stop the presses!”

“Joe is literally shrinking each year. What’s his deal with the Fannie pack? He has no self respect.”

One individual seemed really curious to know Rogan‘s actual height.

“Could someone do some digging and find his hight from an old kickboxing card ?”

The stand-up comedian clearly lacked no support.

“Short Kings!!”

“He would still kick the shit out of OPs a**.”

How tall actually is Joe Rogan? 

The debate around Rogan‘s height clearly has been going on around for a while now. While an online search claims it to be 5’8, some people have claimed him to be shorter than that. At one point, Rogan himself was forced to clarify his height, claiming to be 5’8 tall.

This confusion initially started after someone had edited his height to only 5 feet on Wikipedia. Following that, multiple rumors online claimed that the commentator was 5’7 while some claimed him to be 5’10.

Despite all the noise surrounding a topic as silly as a man’s height, Rogan clearly hasn’t shown any concern about it. The man has earned the respect of his followers all over the globe, and his height should probably be the last aspect of his being discussed online.
