UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal might not be in the best form of his career, but he sure knows how to pay his respect to the legends of the sport. And that is what the BMF star exactly did in his recent Instagram story. The 38-year-old gave a shout-out to none other than Don ‘The Predator’ Frye while re-sharing an epic clip of the UFC Hall of Famer. The 57-year-old was seen dramatically narrating the differences between old MMA fights and modern ones in the mentioned clip. While Frye talked about how fights back in his time had no rules, unlike the present ones, he also took a sly dig at some of the current MMA fighters.
Don Frye is undoubtedly among the most memorable legends of the sport. One of his most remarkable fights included the one against Yoshihiro Takayama which clearly needs no introduction to MMA fans. Owing to his exploits in the sport, ‘The Predator’ was inducted into the UFC hall of fame in 2016.

While dissing the current crop of fighters, Frye exclaimed that fighters did not worry about getting their hair dyed or toenails painted back then.
“I’m Don Frye, The Predator, UFC’s two-time world champion. Back when men were men. Not pretty boy champions who dyed their hair and, for god’s sake, paint their toenails.” He stated. Some would bet that Frye is referring to former middleweight champ Israel Adesanya in the last sentence. But that is something that only the 57-year-old can testify as to who he is referring to here.

At the end of the night, you can go to the hospital or you go to the after-party, or if you are tough enough, both.” said Frye.
