After watching the Netflix series, a fan recently suggested Khabib Nurmagomedov may have refused a rematch with ‘The Notorious’. McGregor’s former rival Nate Diaz seems to agree with that statement.

The UFC’s biggest fight in terms of pay-per-view sales saw Conor McGregor lock horns with the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov. Their rivalry became deeply personal during the build-up to UFC 229. The outcome of the fight didn’t turn out to be in the Irishman’s favor, and he was seen having an emotional breakdown after the fight backstage.

Diaz takes shots at Khabib Nurmagomedov for ducking a rematch with McGregor

A fan on social media by the username ‘Super Fan’ shared a tweet after watching ‘McGregor Forever’ on Netflix. He opined that Khabib Nurmagomedov may have snubbed the idea of a rematch with ‘Notorious’. The fan was very confident about his statement. He said, “After watching the new McGregor documentary I can confidently say that Khabib ducked the rematch.”

Most people didn’t take the statement too seriously since ‘The Eagle’s win over Conor McGregor was a definitive one. Nurmagomedov dominated ‘The Notorious’ to win the fight via submission. However, Nate Diaz has a different opinion. He sided with the fan’s claim and called out Nurmagomedov for not taking part in a rematch with the former double champion. Diaz commented, “Yes kabibs a pu**y.” But this isn’t the first time he had something to say about the UFC Hall of Famer.

The Stockton native took shots at ‘The Eagle’ for running away from the UFC

Meanwhile, Nate Diaz shared his thoughts on the situation and took a jibe at ‘The Eagle’ for not fighting the other credible fighters in the promotion. He said, “Kabib is a pu**y for real.”

Nate Diaz has never been a fan of the Dagestani legend. They once ran into a brawl with each other in 2015. They even had their teams with them, too, and their relationship hasn’t healed since then. Diaz’s famous rival Conor McGregor has also attacked the Russian for wanting to leave the sport.
