

The controversial commentator, Joe Rogan might have landed himself in trouble yet again. The UFC commentator is famous for making some bold comments and opinions. Sometimes he may speak such a statement even on sensitive subjects. Moreover, most of these opinions are mostly made on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. Some days he may speak about scientific subjects such as Neuralink. While on certain days he will speak about Madonna and Grammy awards. Similarly, he spoke about one political and made a comment about Jews. This statement has landed him in some trouble with the public. However, one former UFC fighter has come to Joe Rogan‘s aid.
Jake Shields defends Joe Rogan on Twitter
The UFC commentator faced a severe backlash from the public. On Twitter, the controversial podcaster faced some harsh comments from the audience. One tweet about the issue was, “Joe Rogan’s moronic comparison between Jews loving money and Italians loving pizza is that the stereotype about Italians loving pizza doesn’t involve them plotting to manipulate the rest of the world into giving them all of the pizza.”

Moreover, there were tweets flying in to bash the UFC commentator. However, the former fear factor host found some support from Jake Shields. The 29-7 record holder came out in support of Joe Rogan and bashed one of the tweets that slammed the 55-year-old.

Jake Shields explained that what the former Fear Factor host said might not be construed in a wrongful manner. Moreover, he tried to explain the statement put forth by the UFC commentator. The former Strikeforce middleweight champ tweeted, “Loving money doesn’t mean your trying to plot and take all my money. Every Jewish person I know loves money and personally I don’t see that as a negative” Further, it remains to be seen if his tweet has done any damage control in that regard.
What did Rogan say on his podcast?
The controversial podcast certainly made some bold statements in his talk show. The UFC commentator said, “The idea that Jewish people are not into money is ridiculous. That’s like saying Italians aren’t into pizza. It’s f**king stupid.” Moreover, it remains to be seen if Rogan comes with a clarification of himself after such a statement.

There was immediate backlash from certain sections of the public. The CEO of the American Jewish Committee said on Twitter, “@JoeRogan, in defending Rep. Omar’s past antisemitic comments, you invoke the same tropes that have been used to persecute Jews for centuries. With an audience of millions, it’s dangerous to be so flippant in trafficking in antisemitic stereotypes. Happy to explain on your pod.“
