“Macklemore Is It You?” Conor McGregor Tries to Convince Fans With ‘Middle Aged Moms’ Selfie but Ends Up Leaving Them Even More Confused

Conor McGregor has got a new look. He recently appeared clean-shaven and looked much younger. He shared another selfie on Instagram that hasn’t particularly impressed fans. His Instagram account has 46.2 million followers and the new looks seemed to intrigue a good chunk of them.

The Instagram post is a pretty simple selfie. McGregor was wearing a serious expression. The caption read “The beards gone baby, not the bread 😂❤️.” Fans didn’t wait for long and reacted to the post with their opinions. While many comments talked about how Conor McGregor looked like “The Accountant” or a used car reseller, a few fans compared him with other celebrities.

A user wrote, “You take selfies like middle aged moms. Love you though king.” The comment was upon McGregor’s selfie game, which, unlike his fighting prowess, wasn’t too sharp. The customary remarks like “who the fook is this” were also in abundance.

Conor McGregor or Macklemore?

One user, however, compared McGregor to rapper Macklemore for his clean-shaven look. The user commented, “Macklemore is it you”. It’s very clear that the new look has confused a lot of fans. While some fans feel the champion looks dapper and handsome, other fans have been dissing McGregor.

Talking about his now clean-shaven face, a user commented, “I thought Dustin proved you don’t got a chin.” Dustin Poirier defeated McGregor at UFC 257 and UFC 264 in  2021. Conor McGregor and his chin attracted other comments. A user said it was now easier to smack McGregor’s chin.

Conor McGregor first revealed his new without-beard look in an Instagram post. He had shared pictures in a pilot’s uniform with his wife Dee Devlin and children Conor McGregor Jr., Croia McGregor, and Rian McGregor. The first clean-shaven post also attracted mixed reviews and comments from fans.

A lot of fans loved McGregor’s bearded look. The new look has made these fans say that ‘Mystic Mac’ should grow his beard back. A user even asked ‘The Notorious’ McGregor to put his beard back. The user wrote, “Please put it back on champ”. Conor McGregor’s new look has intrigued many people. A lot of fans, however, are waiting for his comeback to the octagon.
