Chan Sung Jung, popularly known as ‘The Korean Zombie’ has become a cult hero in the UFC. Owing to his popularity among the Asian population, UFC is rumored to organize a UFC Fight Night 218. The event is expected to take place at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, South Korea. If this event occurs then it will be the first UFC event in Korea since UFC Fight Night: Edgar vs. The Korean Zombie. The event took place in Busan, South Korea.

Chan Sung Jung sent a heartfelt message to the fans explaining to them what had happened. According to the post, Chan Sung Jung said that he dislocated his shoulder during wrestling training on December 7. He sent out an apology to the fans for the injury and subsequent jeopardy of the occurrence of the event.

Korean Zombie is in need of a win having a tumultuous record recently. The UFC featherweight lost the championship match against UFC Featherweight champion Alexander Volkonovski.

With an inconsistent record and injury-prone years, Chan Sung Yung hasn’t had a good run of years in the UFC. With this injury, fans have to see him sit out for more months. The native fans of Chan Sung Jung will be majorly disappointed to miss out on seeing their favorite fighter in the octagon.
