Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler have started the shoot for ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ season 31, which will air on ESPN in May. The show will culminate with the fight between the two coaches, which will also be McGregor‘s first fight since returning from the injury. However, ‘Iron’ recently replied to a fan asking for the weight class for the match. Chandler claims that weight will not be an issue.

The 36-year-old has been waiting for a long time to land his big-money match against the Irishman for months. There were several rumors regarding the inclusion of UFC veteran Tony Ferguson in TUF 31. But the UFC president, Dana White, decided ‘Iron’ was the way to go for the former two-division champion.

He recently posted a picture of the TUF shoot on Twitter with McGregor by his side. In the post, he wrote that he wants the Irishman to feel like he is in a dominant position. It will make things easier for him. However, a fan claimed to reply to that tweet asking about the weight class for their upcoming UFC clash. Chandler replied to the fan, claiming that weight is not an issue with ‘The Notorious’.

Michael Chandler claims “weight” has no play in his bout against Conor McGregor

Michael Chandler claims that McGregor‘s team of photographers makes him look bigger than he really is. He said, “He and his photgrapher with his lights and angles will have you believe he is above 185.” Moreover, ‘Iron’ believes that the former double champion has a lower bone density than himself. Chandler added, “But his bone density will beg to differ.”

He added, Weight won’t change the outcome.” Chandler seems to be very confident about the fact that he will have the upper hand over Conor McGregor when they finally get inside the octagon.
