“Road House” is currently the most talked about movie for fight fans across the world. This is because none other than UFC’s Conor McGregor plays a major role in the movie. However, McGregor’s current rival and supposed next opponent, Michael Chandler, made some comments that left people shocked.

Michael Chandler reveals shooting a scene with Jake Gyllenhaal

During an interview with TMZ Sports, “Iron” made some big announcements for his future and his next fight. However, earlier in the interview, Chandler revealed that he might’ve had a cameo at the “Road House” movie, even going to a different location to film his shot with the lead actor.

During the interview with TMZ Sports, Chandler stated, “I actually filmed a scene with Gyllenhaal in the movie. So actually a couple of weeks before my last fight, I flew out of the Dominican Republic. And me and Jake did a fight scene together was basically just one of his highlights. But I wasn’t gonna pass up the opportunity. I did not cross paths with Conor. I think he had just left actually. So yeah, man. Jake’s a friend of mine and I’m excited to watch the movie on Amazon Prime.”

Though the cameo in the movie is something that excited the fight fans. However, something that made fight fans more wild was the announcement of his return against Conor McGregor.

Chandler claims return against Conor McGregor

At the start of the interview, Chandler confirmed the rumor about the fight between him and McGregor being set to take place in the summer of 2024. Despite not spilling out any events or dates for the fight, the former Bellator champ seemed confident about the fight actually taking place this time.

In the interview with TMZ Sports, “I’ve got the official announcement, it’s happening this summer. I can’t tell you the actual date, but it’s happening. The official status is that we have an agreement, we are fighting this summer. We’ll let the court of public opinion speculate on what the date is, but it’s definitely this summer.”
