

Athletes earn staggering sums of money. And such information always makes people pause a bit and think. One such piece of recent news was the signing of Aaron Judge to a multimillion-dollar contract with the New York Yankees. This news made Derek Brunson reconsider his son’s future in the MMA in light of this information. However, Brunson‘s witty tweet drew in some serious reactions from the fans as they debated the underpayment of UFC fighters and blamed Dana White for that.

The 38-year-old UFC fighter made the playful claim that he had pulled his son out of MMA training and would instead enroll him in baseball lessons.
UFC fighter’s tweet backfired on Dana White
Derek Brunson often makes some amusing tweets. And as his Twitter bio states ‘Christian w/ a Sense of Humor’, it’s only fair for him to do so. In response to Aaron Judge‘s multimillion-dollar contract, he recently sent out a rather playful tweet, to which fans responded in a serious manner.

Brunson wrote, “Aaron Judge just signed a 330 million dollar contract in baseball . I just cancelled my son’s mma membership and signed him up for baseball 😂😂😂”. Even though the tweet was written in good humor, it elicited some serious replies.

It is not a new topic of discussion that UFC fighters are not paid enough. Some fans and a few fighters themselves have taken issue with Dana White over this matter, too.

White, on the other hand, has steadfastly defended the idea that UFC fighters are paid fairly and that their salaries are not in any way unfairly being withheld.
