The UFC supremo, Dana White, got into a brief scuffle with his wife on the eve of New Year. A video surfaced recently that showcased both White and his wife having a go at each other with open hands. The UFC veteran, Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone, had been vocal about his wish to fight the noted Jake Paul, for the past few days. But it all ended miserably for ‘Cowboy’. And finally, the former UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman appears to be still plagued with his gruesome hand injury of the previous year. He might also be missing his future main event showdown against Leon Edwards due to it.

Dana White and his wife slapping each other was the talk of the town

The UFC boss, Dana White, failed to put up a bright example of himself as a family man. Recently, a video created a lot of buzz on the web. It displayed Dana White and his wife Anne, partying at the El Squid Roe on the eve of the New Year. But things got ugly really quickly as Anne, decided to land a slap on the UFC president. However, the UFC boss didn’t show any mercy either and decided to return his wife’s shot back instantly.

However, White was quick to realize his public mistake and also made an apology after this incident. He accused himself of being inconsiderate enough to hit a woman and wanted to put up a better example for at least his three kids.

Jake Paul turns a cold shoulder to Doland Cerrone’s offer to fight him

The former UFC Lightweight and Welterweight fighter, Donald Cerrone, was looking for a fight with the noted YouTuber boxer, Jake Paul. Talking about fighting Paul, ‘Cowboy’ stated, “How could I say no to a f***ing millions of dollars? I would definitely go out there and do it”. But, the ‘Problem Child’ showcased no interest whatsoever in a bout with ‘Cowboy’.

In his interview with The Schmo, Paul stated, “I’m kind of tired of beating these old dudes up like that. You know what I’m saying? I’m just trying to get someone in there who is younger”. It seems that Cerrone‘s wish for a heavy fight purse after fighting Paul isn’t coming to life anytime soon.

Kamaru Usman still appears to be suffering from his hand injury

The former UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman‘s issues with his hand won’t leave him this easily. The 35-year-old Nigerian was placed under the knife in the month of February of the previous year; for a hand ligament surgery. He also fought the current Welterweight champion, Leon Edwards, after his recovery from the surgery.

But MMA fans were quick to spot some strapping on the other hand of ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ while he took the cage of the ‘Face Off’ fight promotion. Usman‘s hand was apparently not in order; he also tried to avoid any significant usage of his strapped hand.

But, the UFC has set up their card for the London event; with Usman vs Edwards trilogy fight as the main event. With Usman still in trouble with his hand, UFC Welterweight, Stephen Thompson, has also revealed that the UFC was looking for a replacement for Usman to fight Edwards in the London event of the UFC.

• The UFC is looking to get maximum viewership at their Perth event by plotting another Australian to fight in the event. The UFC 284 would now feature a Welterweight bout between the Australian, Jack Della Maddalena and Randy Brown as well.
