Lastly, one of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson‘s relatives revealed the truth regarding the PED usage accusation. The noted UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan had placed these accusations on ‘The Rock’ previously.

A lawsuit against Conor McGregor was withdrawn by its plaintiff

The arguably biggest UFC star, Conor McGregor, is no stranger to legal troubles. Over the course of his career, the Irishman has faced lawsuits due to various issues. Even his once friend, Artem Lobov, had McGregor as the defendant, while he too chose to file a lawsuit against his former friend.

But recently, McGregor‘s count of lawsuits dropped a number. ‘Mystic Mac’, who was subjected to yet another lawsuit by a lady named Samantha Murphy, just about a month back. She accused ‘The Notorious’ of assaulting her on the date of 16 July 2022 while she was on McGregor‘s yacht to celebrate her birthday. She also stated that McGregor probably would have “murdered” her if she didn’t jump off the yacht near Formentera Island.

However, Murphy recently withdrew her claims against McGregor. An Irish media source also reported that a notice of discontinuance of the lawsuit had already been submitted. But, they could document nothing about what actually caused Samantha Murphy to withdraw her lawsuit.

Erin Blanchfield had a term for the outdated grappling style of Valentina Shevchenko

The UFC Vegas 69 proved out to be a mettle displayer for the UFC Flyweight, Erin Blanchfield. The 23-year-old displayed her superb grappling skills as she earned her victory by submitting her opponent with a rear-naked choke.

Following her grappling-dominated victory, Blanchfield took a jibe at the UFC Flyweight queen, Valentina Shevchenko. The UFC’s top Flyweight contender appeared recently on the noted MMA podcast, ‘The MMA Hour’, and talked about a variety of issues regarding her future plans in the UFC. Talking about a possible title shot and the champion of her division, ‘Cold Blooded’ revealed her opinion about ‘Bullet’s’ grappling capabilities.

Blanchfield stated, “On the actual floor, her jiu-jitsu, it’s not bad. It’s just very, very basic.” She further revealed her thoughts about Shevchenko, stating, “I don’t think she can get out of certain positions very well. That’s where her game is the most basic and probably could use some improvement”. It would be interesting to watch them go to the ground if a matchup commences fixed between them.

‘The Rock’s relative takes a stand against Joe Rogan’s steroid usage accusations

Even after spending years in the field of combat sports, ‘The Rock’ was accused of using steroids by one of the most noted personalities of the MMA world, Joe Rogan. In episode #1905 of his coveted podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, Rogan had a thorough discussion with his guest, ‘Derek’ from the YouTube channel, ‘More Plates More Dates’, who is also a fitness instructor about how it was impossible for Johnson to maintain such a superhuman-like physique at his age of 50.

But recently, ‘The Rock’s’ noted cousin, Solofa Fatu Jr. who is better known by his WWE stage name ‘Rikishi’, came out in defense of his kin. ‘Rikishi’ stated that he, Johnson, and other Samoans’ were Polynesian people.

He also stated the Polynesians were known for being larger as compared to others. He stated, “We’re all big-boned men. And Rock, you see him. He workout, if you workout as much as ‘The Rock’, every day. I mean, while people’s in the club partying, Rock’s in the Paradise Gym”.

Understandably, Fatu Jr. debunked Rogan’s steroid usage accusations against his cousin Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
