Mixed martial arts is full of striking and submissions. But the MMA community has seen unusual submission moves used by fighters that are rarely used in their bout. However, recently, MMA fans on Twitter reacted to a funny video of an individual trying a strange submission move on his friend. The man in the video was seen holding his friend in an uncomfortably tight grip, which looked like a submission move. He stretched his friend by the back and was screaming at him continuously.

The other guy in the video was clearly hurting as he found himself in an awkward position. The video was captioned: “what do you call this submission?

The video wasn’t violent, but funny in a way to see one grown-up man manhandling another grown-up like a child. This prompted the reaction of many MMA fans on the social media platform.

While some fans hilariously brought up how the other person got manhandled like a doll.

The video probably helped a few reminisce about their childhood days.

However, there were a few who had only heard about the special move but were seeing it for the first time.

Although the video was most likely a light-hearted post; We indeed see many MMA fighters using unusual and rare submission moves every now and then. The most recent instance comes from Cage Titans 57. Former military veteran-turned-MMA fighter, Gerald Meuse, used one of the rarest submission moves, the ‘twister’, on his opponent, consequently winning the fight.

All MMA fighters have their own unique way of fighting. They come from different combat backgrounds. However, most of them used moves from the books and can be replicated by each other. But sometimes there are fighters who are just on a different level and create their own unorthodox fighting style.
