The fight between UFC women’s flyweight champ Alexa Grasso, and challenger Valentina Shevchenko was so close that the judges could not decide the winner. That’s why this battle ended in a split decision draw, which is very rare to see in the octagon.

Usually, draws are frustrating for the fans, but not this one! The fight was filled with action and adventure. Moreover, both fighters landed some powerful strikes along with an exceptional display of grappling in all 5 rounds. This time, the former UFC champion did not shy away from praising both Grasso and Shevchenko for their phenomenal display. Soon after the fight ended, McGregor posted an exciting tweet on his ‘X’ account.

An absolute corker of a fight,” he wrote in his recent post. Moreover, ‘The Notorious’ even termed the fight as the best one in women’s MMA yet. “All timer in WMMA imo. And it ends in a draw! Wow wow, wow,” UFC’s first double champ wrote.

Going further, McGregor tagged both the fighters and congratulated them for this spectacle. “Well done @AlexaGrasso and @BulletValentina ! Incredible,” he added. Known for his outspoken personality and trash talk, it is very rare to see McGregor using positive words for his fellow fighters. However, Grasso and Shevchenko’s exceptional performance was able to bring out the positive side of ‘The Notorious’.

Soon afterwards, McGregor posted another tweet about this fight. In the tweet, ‘The Notorious’ mentioned how the draw was a fair result for both the fighters. Moreover, he also mentioned that the former women’s flyweight champ Valentina Shevchenko could have been unlucky in some positions during the fight.

“Fair draw. Valentina unlucky for sure but a draw is fair in my opinion,” he posted. Further, McGregor also hinted at his desire to see a rematch. “Run it back,” he said. However, ‘The Notorious’ soon deleted the tweet.
