Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis share a strong bond. The two have sparred together on the mats of Straight Blast Gym, Ireland. However, Danis’ career has seen a steep decline as mixed martial arts fans continuously dissed the Bellator MMA star. Danis is back in the limelight after the announcement of his boxing bout against KSI, thereby sending the fans into a frenzy.

However, just a week before the match, Danis pulled out of the fight, thereby upsetting the fans to an even greater extent. The decline in his career reportedly affected his friendship with the Irishman. However, ‘The Notorious’ dismissed these suggestions and revealed that everything was good with the two of them in a tweet. 

Terrance McKinney brought the question of the relationship between McGregor and Danis back to the forefront. Undeniably, Danis doesn’t let himself stay out of the spotlight for too long. He recently tweeted a picture of himself and believed that he can’t be stopped. However, McKinney’s reply made the fans take over the comments.

Danis has mastered the art of staying relevant. He gained popularity for his close relationship with Conor McGregor. Few weeks after he pulled out of his big boxing fight with KSI, the mixed martial artist took to Twitter and shared a picture of himself. He captioned, “nobody can stop me.”

McKinney wrote, “Crazy that McGregor finally unfollowed you.” Doubtlessly, the friendship between the two has underwent its highs and lows. However, McKinney’s comments brought an uproar to the post.

Without a doubt, ‘T-Wrecks’ made a comment that attracted attention from all around the world. Many fans speculated the breakdown in their relationship was related to McGregor being the TUF coach.

One fan suggested that McGregor unfollowed Danis because he began using his teeth.

However, another fan refuted suggestions that McGregor didn’t unfollow Danis.

Danis and McGregor’s friendship hasn’t always gone smoothly, but a certain Irish star played down suggestions of a complete deterioration in the duo’s relationship.

Prior to his fight with KSI, Danis was invited as a guest on Ariel Helwani’s show, ‘The MMA Hour’. The interview revealed that McGregor, in fact, wasn’t aware that Danis was going to box with KSI. Undeniably, the Dubliner enquired about it.

The former UFC lightweight champion revealed that although things were bad with Artem Lobov, his friendship with Danis was indeed rocking. However, what McKinney had to say in Danis’ tweet also raised a few eyebrows.
