Due to her miss, the Mexican women’s fighter will pay 30 percent of her purse to her opponent for the fight to move forward. Following the first weight miss of her career, the Mexican fighter took to Twitter to apologize to her opponent. She also revealed the reason for weight miss.
Aldana said, “In all my career, this is the first time I had missed weight, I tried hard and push my body to the limit. But it stopped sweating. Got my menstrual cycle during fight week and I’m sure my body stopped because of that.”
