There is no point in trying to figure out if recent feuds between fighters have merit or not. The modern era of fighting in UFC has added another important element of self-promotion, and social media into the mix. Veteran UFC fighter, Nate Diaz, dislikes this aspect of the fight game and stated that the ongoing feud between Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal is actually fake.

It is not a surprise to find Nate Diaz asking the tough questions about the ongoing feud. Stockton’s very own mixed martial artist is famous for being one of the most real personalities. Fans are drawn to him because of this very fact, and also because he brings his A-game in every fight. Moreover, it is not possible to have boring fight when one of Diaz brothers is involved.

However, he kick-started a similar ‘heel turn’ that fans have learned to see in professional wrestling.

The UFC star has admitted the same over the course of time, and stated that his heel turn is all for business. He doesn’t mind being hated by his peers for the same as it allows him to make more money and allows him to have the spotlight on him always.

Thus, Nate isn’t telling us anything that fans didn’t know already, as the modern era of fighting has become more about entertainment as well.
