Joe Rogan joined Tom Segura to talk about their experiences on YMH Studios’ Podcast Ep. 152 | 2 Bears, 1 Cave. During the podcast, Segura talked about a crazy event when they thought their hotel was on fire.
Joe Rogan really panicked at that moment
Talking about the moment Joe Rogan shared how he was really panicked during that time and was ready to even “start running on top of people.”
Segura said reminiscing about the event, “Do you remember (when) we were there (in San Francisco)… and we thought it was a hotel fire?”
Then, Rogan started telling the story, describing the time that he literally wanted to run over everyone. Rogan said, “It was like two o’clock, three o’clock in the morning. The (Fire) alarm goes off and we all shuffle out of our rooms.”
He adds “we had to go down the stairs and everybody was like…slowly going down the stairs and I am freaking the f*** out.”

The UFC color commentator host talked about how people did not understand the urgency of the situation as they were slowly walking down. Rogan recollected the moment of panic he was in while saying, “if there’s a real fire, I’m running over everyone.”
Tom Segura then talked about how he didn’t panic when he heard the fire alarm. But, upon seeing the crowd of people and the narrow stairs, he shared, “I think I would’ve thrown an old person… out of the way and stepped on them.”
Rogan continued and said, “yeah this is a f****** fire!” “and people are gonna die in fire, it’s not good.”

Both had a laugh remembering the incident as Segura revealed that there was no actual fire, “then we found out that… it wasn’t smoke from fire, it was like that smoke that comes out of an extinguisher.”
Well, as he said Rogan might have ‘stepped’ on them, but luckily he realized it was a fake fire and backed out from doing any such thing.
Both of them share this and a lot of other takes on the podcast episode. It seems like the comedian can never run out of stories!
