Petr Yan is a former bantamweight champion in the UFC. Last night, he fought against Sean O’Malley at UFC 280. The fight was brutal and met the expectations that fans had of the fighters. The two went at each other for the whole 5 rounds. But, O’Malley was declared the winner based on a split decision. They certainly disappointed Yan with the decision, and he took to Twitter to express his emotions.

Sean O’Malley earned his bragging rights after defeating Petr Yan last night at UFC 280. Petr Yan was considered the favorite and O’Malley was tagged as the underdog. Yan’s the best-ranked UFC fighter in the bantamweight division. He has been in the fighting business for a very long time. But, Sugar proved that raw talent defeats experience as he came out on top against the Russian fighter.

The 29-year-old former bantamweight champion does have a right to complain though. He secured some heavy takedowns during the rounds. Also seemed to have bested his opponent by far. But Yan had to take the loss based on the judges’ decision to favor his opponent.

Yan took to Twitter to express his emotions, saying “F*** the judges!”

Chinese UFC fighter, Li Jingliang, commented on this post by Petr Yan. In his last fight, he went up against an American fighter, Daniel Rodriguez. The judges also decided their bout on a split decision, favoring “D-Rod”.

These notorious judgment calls really affect the fighting game. But Li Jingliang had an answer for the judges. He appropriately wore a tank on which the word “Robbed” was written in red. The Chinese fighter kindly offered this top to Yan and said, “Bro, I have a shirt you can borrow because you were also #Robbed

The fighters cannot understand how they lost to an undeserving opponent. Both of them are mad at the judges who showed favoritism to the other fighter. Yan has officially lost to Sean O’Malley, but seeing how fans reacted to this match, a rematch might be on cards.
